Paul Blanck Pinot Blanc d’Alsace 2017 - Alsace, France

The Story

200 years ago in the picturesque town of Kientzheim in Alsace, the Blanck family started their winery. Over a third of their vineyards are Grand Cru and they take the upmost care in farming their land. Cousins Frédéric and Philippe Blanck have been in charge for the past 30 years. They have been carrying on their family tradition of showing the world the diversity and complexity of the great wines of Alsace.

M+Q Notes

From the Blanck families range of wines called ‘Les Classiques’ made from the traditional grapes of Alsace. The Pinot Blanc grapes were whole bunch pressed before natural fermentation in stainless steel vessels. Floral and fruity aromas of apricot, white flower and grapefruit skin. Ripe peach on the palate with an abundance of citrus fruits and hints of minerality and a dry finish. Rich and textural with bright, balanced acidity.
