The Story

Angiolino Maule began his career as a pizza maker but later decided to ditch pizza for wine. He chose Gambellara in the Veneto region to make his wine because he wanted to concentrate on the Garganega grape found in the famous Soave wines. He has 9 hectares of mostly Garganega vines and some Trebbiano. Angiolino believes good wine is a product of quality farming which is why he doesn’t use chemicals in his vineyards and farms biodynamically. He stays consistent in the winery and does not add chemicals to the wines which includes no fining or filtering and no added yeasts or sulphur.

M+Q Notes

A delicate, flower, citrusy blend of predominately Garganega and a drop of Trebbiano made in stainless steel. Flavours of tart lemon, key limes and almond skin. A fuller bodied white with generous acidity and a savoury finish.
