THE WINE'S STORY

Under the helm of winemaker Mark Walpole, previously chief winemaker at Brown Brothers in Rutherglen for ten years and also more recently winemaker at the highly regarded Greenstone vineyard in Heathcote.

SOMMELIER NOTES

The Aquila is a blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Petit Manseng, it is a rendition of white wines from the Languedoc region of southern France. The Viognier adds potent apricot fruit and the Petit Manseng provides added acidity to solidify it’s place as a well regarded food friendly wine. Expect a thickly textured and multi-layered white, full of green melon fruit, grapefruit with quite a juicy finish.
