The Story

Paolo and Guido Sartirano started Cascina Ghercina to celebrate their love for Piedmontese wines. Their estate is located on the edge of Barolo in a town called Novello. Their winery is named after the lake called Ghercina that is surrounded by vines on their property. They champion the traditional grapes of the region including Nebbiolo, Arneis and Moscato and create traditional and exceptional wines of the region.
