Si Vintners Pink 2017 - Margaret River, Western Australia

The Story

Sarah and Iwo Jacimowicz who in September of 2010 purchased a 30 acre estate with 20 acres under vine (majority planted in 1978). The property is situated just south of the Margaret River township in an area called Rosa Glen. Their motivation is to hand craft minimal intervention wines, which are expressive of the vineyard and sub-region. Since purchasing the property, the vineyard has been farmed organic/biodynamic. All wines are made without any of the usual additives used in commercial winemaking, apart from a small sulphur addition at bottling. Bottling their wines without fining or filtration as we believe that these processes take away aromas and flavours from the wine.

M+Q Notes

This rosé is made from Cabernet Sauvignon with a small portion of Petit Verdot fermented in stainless steel. Savoury and fruity and a perfect wine to pair with food. Cranberry, rhubarb and wild strawberry on the nose and palate with notes of dried herbs and spices. Juicy acidity that makes you keep going back for more.
