THE WINE'S STORY

Pachamama is the Incha goddess who brings’ fruit to the vine and joy to the world’.

Sourced from a single vineyard in the Strathbogie Ranges of North Eastern Victoria, not far from Benalla. There is a winemaking duo here of Nina Stocker and Callie Jamieson, also of the Cloak and Dagger range of wines.

Pinot Gris is best when it is balanced and aromatic. The cool nights and fertile soil of the Strathbogie Ranges assist with achieving elegance between the flavour, the alcohol levels while the acidity is super balanced, this is one ‘smooth operator.’

SOMMELIER NOTES

Gris achieves a buttery richness and a complexity, which sets itself apart from Pinot Grigio that will be leaner, tighter and much drier. White musk, lemon zest, quince and honeyed tones before a crisp mineral like finish.
