The Story

Around a million years ago The Rowsley Fault formed on the western side of the Port Phillip Basin. Deep gorges formed with a combination of soils including clay, loam and limestone. Named after the fault line the vineyards are located on, Rowsley Fault Wines was formed by a group of people from different countries around the world. The vineyards are dry grown and the winemaking is traditional with minimal invention when possible.

A fruit forward Gamay fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel. Flavours of red cherry, ripe raspberry and dried cranberry. Vibrant acidity and on the lighter side of medium bodied. Made in a drink now style and can even be chilled.
