The Story

Domaine Dupré began as a family farm in the 1950s raising livestock as well as growing a small amount of grapes on 3 hectares. In the 1980s they shifted their focus to viticulture and since then have grown their vineyards to 26 hectares. 60% of their vines are Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Jean-Christophe is the current winemaker who took over from his father in the 1990s. He has been a driven force in expanding the Domaine’s vineyard holdings as well as growing healthy fruit at the perfect ripeness. Jean-Christophe even installed a weather station on the property to keep a close eye on the affects of the changing climate. He also mains biodiversity in the vineyard as well as only using organic fertilises.
