The Story

Chateau Thivin is the oldest winery in Brouilly appellation having the oldest Gamay grapes grown organically on the soils of blue stones giving the wine spicy mineral, complex, powerful and elegant character. An age-worthy wine with a structure.

M+Q Notes

Chateau Thivin's Cote de Brouilly is no ordinary Beaujolais. As the name Les Sept Vignes suggests, Gamay grapes come from seven different steep and sunny slopes of Mont Brouilly. The wine is deep and complex with intense aromas and flavours of black fruits, floral notes of violets, peonies and a touch of spices and minerality.
