Brackenwood Gamay Pinot Noir 2018 - Adelaide Hills, SA

The Story

Brakenwood owner Damon Nagel was a sommelier in Adelaide and then continued his career at various restaurants in London. He returned home to South Australia in the early 2000s, purchased a vineyard in the Hope Forest region of the Adelaide Hills and started his winery. Damon hired Hungarian winemaker Laz Horvath, who has had winemaking experience all over the world, to manage the vineyards and wine production. The vineyards are farmed with biodynamic practises and the grapes used for the wines are all estate grown and fermented with wild yeast.

M+Q Notes

A unique blend that shows scents of cherry and spice. Great mouth feel and texture with gentle sweet fruit and a clean, fresh finish. Vibrant, fresh and seriously gluggable!
