THE STORY

The name Garagiste refers to a group of winemakers in the Bordeaux region of France producing a modern style of wine known as 'Garage wine'. Le Stagiaire is meaning 'trainee' in French, but wine maker Barney Flanders is hardly a trainee, having been making outstanding wines on the Mornington Peninsula for the past ten years, he has quietly established Garagiste as one of the leading small scale producers in this coastal region.

M+Q NOTES

This is superb Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir: with fruit coming from both Balnarring and Tuerong vineyards. Aromatic, savoury and just slightly sweetly fruited. Think dark cherry, poached plum aromas, with a touch of clove and cinnamon spice. Finely textured tannins with subtle spice on the finish.
