The Story

David Geyer is making wine very unlike what you’d traditionally think of when you hear Barossa Valley. He makes wine in a natural, minimal intervention approach from common grapes of the region like Grenache and not so common grapes like Muscat of Alexandrie and Montepulciano. He works with farmers who grow their grapes using organic and biodynamic practises and also grows some of his own grapes in a similar fashion. David is also part of the duo behind the fun and unique Yetti and the Kokonut wines which he makes with his mate Koen Janssens.

M+Q Notes

David works with renowned winemaker Ashley Ratcliff at Ricca Terra Farms in Riverland to source Muscat of Alexandria grapes from 80 year old vines. The wine is full of floral aromas, white peach and yellow pear flavours, racy acidity and chalky minerality.
