The Story

The Ministry of Clouds label is a relatively new comer to the Australian wine scene, having begun in 2013 by duo Bernice Ong and Julian Forwood. The pair have impressive Australian wine industry experience having worked renowned wineries, Mount Adam, Wirra Wirra, Woodstock, and Yalumba. James Halliday also named the label part of the Top Ten New Wineries in 2015. They are new kids on the block and have arrived in a big way!

M+Q Notes

Fruit is sourced from McLaren Vale for the reds and both the Clare Valley and Tasmania for the whites. This wine combines bright notes of sarsaparilla, violets and nutmeg which is typical of dry grown Tempranillo. The Grenache component is from old vine Grenache, which adds perfume and a cherry, red berry spectrum of flavour. A medium bodied wine with savoury crunchy tannins and a fine boned structure.
