The Story

Boutinot's unswerving belief that Côtes du Rhônes Villages wine deserves the best grapes, rather than the rest of the bunch after the best has gone to a named village. This belief means that the best fruit from 17 villages in the appellation go towards this wine. Predominantly an un-oaked blend of Grenache and Syrah from the ‘named villages’ of the southern Rhone. This wine in then ‘interwoven’ with approximately 15% of superior, oak-aged wines from the classified villages of Sablet, Seguret and Cairanne.

M+Q Notes

The exceptional fruit from a fantastic clean and ripe harvest.  Exuding the sweet and spicy aromas, typical of the southern Rhone. Berry-fruit aromas backed with a hint of cedar and spice, soft supple tannins marrying into the cherry-fruit flavours result in a wine that is rich and smooth.
