Laherte Frères Blanc de Blancs - Champagne France

Laherte Frères Blanc de Blancs - Champagne France

The Story

Aurélien Laherte is part of a dynamic, young generation of vignerons making waves in Champagne and producing a fine array of terroir-driven Champagnes using a natural approach to viticulture and winemaking. Along with his high school friend Raphael Bereche – another rising star in the region - Aurélien founded the “Terres et Vins” group of Champenois producers in 2009. This group taps some of Champagne’s more progressive and like-minded producers, including Agrapart and Marie-Courtin, among others

M+Q Notes

Crafted using 100% Chardonnay from biodynamic plots in Chavot and Epernay, Laherte Frères Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature is vinified in oak and is left to age for at least six months. Dry, racy and thirst quenching. Slate, white flowers, lemon zest, Granny Smith apples, mango sorbet, white pepper, brioche and distant smoke. It’s one serious party in the mouth and a bargain!
