The Wine's Story

Andre Clouet produce an exceptional range of grower champagnes that are rich, concentrated expressions that manage to retain elegance and finesse. A wine making family of more than 2 centuries, the founder acted as a printer in Louis XV court of Versailles and the wines are cellared under the family’s 17th century village house. The style of the labels reflect this heritage.

M+Q Notes

A great vintage from an exceptional producer in one of Pinot Noir's finest villages. Made of 50% Pinot Noir & 50% Chardonnay from Bouzy and Ambonnay; 6g/L dosage, elegance with a whole lot of finesse is a perfect description for this Champagne. White summer fruits, saline notes with a touch of brioche make the 2008 Brut a gorgeous wine with exceptional depth. This is Champagne for special occasions and will over deliver on expectation.
